Overview
This senior leadership position offers full commercial accountability for a major product portfolio within a leading consumer goods firm based in Greater London. The role integrates category strategy, revenue growth management (RGM), and team leadership to achieve lasting business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the creation and execution of a comprehensive multi-year strategy for the category, incorporating customer initiatives, innovation, RGM, and operational improvements.
- Develop and implement profitable commercial plans across diverse channels, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Manage the category's financial outcomes, including preparing forecasts, setting budgets, and monitoring progress against objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a skilled cross-functional team to achieve performance goals.
- Collaborate as an integral member of the category leadership team, engaging with senior stakeholders to advance strategic priorities.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in commercial, category management, or RGM roles within FMCG or consumer goods sectors.
- A balanced background in commercial strategy, category management, and RGM, equipped for progression to Customer or Channel Director positions.
- In-depth knowledge of RGM concepts and practical application to commercial scenarios.
- Demonstrated success in managing P&L responsibilities and leveraging data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional leadership, persuasion, and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Adept at operating within fast-moving and dynamic business environments.
Additional Information
Salary range for this role is £90,000 to £120,000 annually plus benefits. The appointment will provide a significant opportunity to influence a key category at a senior level.
