Vinca Wine is a vibrant brand committed to bringing people together through exceptional wines. Our award-winning cans and aluminium bottles are designed for all occasions, from festivals to casual dinners at home. We're pioneers of innovation within the wine sector and are rapidly expanding with more exciting products in development.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Brand Marketing to spearhead the next phase of Vinca's growth by defining and executing our brand strategy. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in daily marketing operations. You will oversee brand positioning, marketing campaigns, public relations, social media, content creation, and influencer relations, collaborating closely with the company founders to amplify Vinca's story to a broader audience. You will also manage the current brand team of two and have scope to expand team size.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and refine Vinca's brand marketing strategy to reinforce our status as the go-to wine brand for shared experiences.
- Lead and nurture our brand team, shaping operational frameworks and supporting growth.
- Develop and execute trade marketing strategies targeting both on-trade venues (bars, restaurants, festivals) and off-trade retail channels (supermarkets, stores).
- Set and drive social media strategies for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, coordinating with content creators to maintain a unique and engaging brand voice.
- Plan and manage impactful marketing campaigns and activations including sampling, events, PR, and social media engagements.
- Oversee the PR agency partnership, crafting strategies that ensure all media coverage aligns with Vinca’s brand identity.
- Forge and manage brand partnerships to enhance awareness, engagement, and growth metrics.
- Manage the marketing budget with full responsibility for expenditures and ROI.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in brand and marketing roles with proven leadership of campaigns, projects, and teams.
- Demonstrated success scaling consumer brands, preferably in premium, fast-growing FMCG or drinks sectors.
- Creative and entrepreneurial thinker with a passion for challenger brand dynamics.
- Experienced in leading integrated marketing campaigns that encompass digital, experiential, trade, and PR elements.
- Strong background or willingness to develop expertise across DTC, social media, on-trade, and off-trade marketing channels.
- Proven ability to grow and develop teams.
- Commercially driven with a history of achieving and surpassing key performance indicators.
- Excellent communication skills and authentic brand representation capabilities.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, positive, and collaborative team player.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary of £65,000, commensurate with experience.
- Wine allowance to enjoy our products.
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Birthday day off.
- Paid gym membership.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Access to top UK music and sports events with guestlist privileges for you and your friends.
- Team trip to our vineyards in Sicily.
- Opportunities for personal and professional growth within a scaling company.
