About the Role
Kingenta Asia Pacific is seeking a visionary Head of Brand to lead and develop global brand strategies and marketing initiatives for our International Division. Reporting to the Head of International Division, you will manage a dedicated branding team and work closely with overseas marketing contacts to ensure cohesive global brand synergy, asset oversight, and impactful communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough global market research for our overseas fertilizer operations, analyzing industry trends, regional dynamics, customer needs, channel structures, and policy landscapes to support strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive global competitor and brand monitoring framework, ensuring alignment between corporate, subsidiary, and product brands to establish a unified worldwide brand management system.
- Lead the corporate brand positioning, vision, and strategy creation for the International Division, including mid- to long-term plans defining brand hierarchy, core values, storytelling, personality, and communication style.
- Balance global brand standardization with tailoring to local markets to enhance worldwide brand competitiveness.
- Build and manage a global brand system enforcing consistent standards for brand naming, visual identity, behavioral identity, packaging, promotional content, and digital communications.
- Supervise growth and protection of global brand assets such as trademarks, copyrights, domains, visual assets, and content, working closely with legal teams on registrations, monitoring, authorizations, and risk mitigation.
- Audit and ensure brand usage compliance across regions and subsidiaries, including names, packaging, promotional materials, and external communications to support business growth.
- Plan and execute integrated global brand communications including annual communication plans, initiatives, and budgets.
- Create a global communication matrix by leveraging international exhibitions, industry media, digital platforms, social media, and public relations.
- Lead major brand events, product launches, and international exhibitions.
- Oversee development of digital brand assets and content ecosystems managing websites, social media channels, and brand asset libraries, producing engaging content such as videos, imagery, case studies, and technical materials to support regional marketing.
Performance Indicators
- Timely execution of brand strategy and key annual projects.
- Adherence to global brand management guidelines and regional implementations.
- Growth in brand influence, digital engagement, and success of events aligned to business objectives.
- Effective management of brand budgets, risk control, and cross-regional coordination.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Advertising, Communications, International Business, or relevant fields; international education or work experience is advantageous.
- Over 12 years of experience in brand management or marketing, including a minimum of 3 years in a core global brand role within fertilizer, agricultural inputs, or large multinational corporations.
- At least 3 years of team leadership experience with demonstrable success building corporate and product brand systems from foundations to implementation with measurable global impact.
- Strong expertise in corporate brand strategy, architecture, positioning, communication, and asset management.
- Keen global market insight with strategic thinking and robust data analysis capabilities; familiarity with global marketing communication channels, digital tools, and international brand project management.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication, resource management, public relations, crisis handling, as well as copywriting and content strategy skills.
- Proficiency in English as the primary working language; knowledge of Spanish, Chinese, German, or other languages is a plus.
