This full-time permanent opportunity invites recent graduates to immerse themselves in a dynamic finance department at the company's headquarters.
Role Overview
The position offers comprehensive exposure across all financial disciplines within this manufacturing business, allowing the incumbent to develop expertise in both financial and management accounting. Collaboration with seasoned finance experts and senior business leaders will enhance your accounting knowledge and commercial insight.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting activities
- Support the creation of management accounts
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Assist with cash flow reporting and data analysis
- Process and evaluate financial data thoroughly
- Help prepare for audits and ensure compliance standards are met
- Identify ways to enhance financial procedures and controls
- Generate reports to aid business decision-making
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduate or imminent graduate with a degree in Accounting & Finance, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, or related fields
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking
- Meticulous attention to details
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Motivated to pursue a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICAS
