Position Overview

The General Manager of EOR will lead this vital segment with complete responsibility for its strategy, growth, and operational success worldwide. This leadership role calls for overseeing P&L, accelerating expansion, and adapting the product and operations to meet the complex demands of diverse global markets. A priority is to tailor industry-specific EOR services, addressing regulatory and operational challenges in sectors like shipping, mining, and entertainment.

This role requires collaboration with product, engineering, legal, operations, finance, and marketing teams to drive innovation and scalability. The position demands a hands-on leader blending strategic oversight with direct operational involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the comprehensive EOR business operations, including P&L management and global performance.
  • Drive rapid growth and strategically plan to solidify market leadership.
  • Develop customized EOR solutions for distinct industries with unique challenges.
  • Enhance operational capabilities, overseeing compliance, onboarding, payroll, and employee lifecycle with efficiency and scalability in mind.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align priorities and deliver outcomes.
  • Guide product evolution toward a scalable, technology-forward platform emphasizing automation, APIs, and customer experience.
  • Utilize data analytics for investment decisions and performance optimization.
  • Act as an internal and external ambassador of the EOR business.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in general management, operations, or workforce platforms.
  • Proven expertise managing and growing substantial P&L businesses in rapidly growing organizations.
  • Knowledge of global, regulated, and operationally complex environments.
  • Capability in leading large, matrixed teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making aptitude.
  • Sound judgment relating to product development and operations.
  • Poise and credibility at the executive and C-suite levels.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in HR technology, payroll systems, or workforce infrastructure.
  • Experience scaling global and regulated platform or services businesses.
  • History of expanding offerings into new vertical markets.
  • Exposure to international compliance and employment laws.
