Job Summary

The janitor will maintain cleanliness and order throughout the buildings, performing tasks such as floor cleaning, carpet shampooing, washing walls and windows, and waste disposal, ensuring a sanitary and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures and infection control policies.
• Dust and damp mop floors following established guidelines.
• Relocate equipment and furniture to clean thoroughly and reposition items correctly afterward.
• Sanitize all surfaces using assigned materials and adhere to an eight-step cleaning process.
• Clean walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other fixtures to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Identify and proactively clean areas requiring attention without direct supervision.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors timely and efficiently.
• Conduct duties compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets as needed.
• Contribute positively to team efforts and interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of janitorial or related cleaning experience.

Schedule and Location

Full-time positions with multiple shifts available. Work location: 1130 S Williamson Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage of $14.00.
