Porter (Full-Time and Part-Time)

About ESFM and Position Overview

ESFM, the Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA and a Keystone member of the International WELL Building Institute, is seeking candidates for Porter roles available on both full-time and part-time bases. These positions are based at Fluor, located at 100 Fluor Daniel Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. ESFM is dedicated to delivering top-tier facility management services across sectors such as Life Science, Technology, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing, focusing on safety, health, and sustainability in workplace environments.

Work Schedule and Compensation

The work schedule runs Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 AM. Specific hours will be clarified during the interview process. The position offers a fixed hourly wage of $14.00.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front-of-house areas including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations.
• Ensure tables are promptly cleared and cleaned, and floors swept especially during peak service times and pre-service preparation.
• Safely transport dishes and utensils from the front area to the kitchen using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Wash dishes, glasses, and pots either by hand or with dishwashing equipment, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Clean cooking stations and equipment to support efficient service flow.
• Keep display equipment free of debris and compliant with safety and sanitation requirements during meal service.
• Assist in receiving and moving heavy deliveries from the dock to storage areas following safe lifting protocols.
• Adhere to all safety protocols including the use of protective gloves and appropriate footwear while handling knives, hot items, or performing lifting tasks.
• Follow HACCP standards to ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operation efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or day porter roles is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
• Commitment to personal and workplace safety.
