Food Service Utility Worker (Full Time and Part Time)

Position Overview

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at Louisiana State University-Eunice is seeking individuals immediately for both full-time and part-time Food Service Utility roles. The workplace is located at 2048 Johnson Highway, Eunice, LA 70535. Applicants should be prepared for varied shifts, with specific days and hours to be discussed during the interview process. Prior experience in institutional food service is a mandatory qualification.

Compensation and Application Details

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Perform floor sweeping and mopping adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Manage trash removal and sanitize garbage containers thoroughly.
• Handle the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist in banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Support loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
• Distribute utensils, supplies, and portable equipment as required.
• Comply consistently with sanitation and safety protocols.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
