Role overview

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker roles at the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. This position focuses on preparing, presenting, and serving food in a campus dining environment.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time shifts are available. Working hours may fall between Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Additional schedule details will be shared during the interview.

Pay

The role offers an hourly wage in the range of $12.00 to $14.00.

What you will do

You will help prepare food items, support service flow, and maintain cleanliness, safety, and portion standards. The position also includes handling customer questions or concerns and helping keep the service area organized and compliant with company procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in fast food is required. Knowledge of coffee is considered an advantage. Applicants should be able to carry out the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
