Role overview

This is a field sales position focused on visiting booking offices, building relationships, and getting them onboarded with BlackBuck Freight Brokerage. The role combines direct sales, coordination with internal teams, and early-stage account handover after onboarding.

Core responsibilities

The selected person will work on acquiring new booking offices, encouraging newly KYC-completed booking offices to place vehicle indents, and coordinating the first truck placement for successful onboarding. After the initial setup, the role also includes smoothly transferring the account to the Traffic team for ongoing operations.

You will also need to collaborate closely with the Demand team to receive booking office leads and share broker leads back to them, ensuring steady cross-functional movement of opportunities.

Performance measures

Success in this role will be judged on new BO KYC conversions, indent procurement, and successful initial truck placement for newly onboarded booking offices.

Experience and profile

Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of work experience. Applicants with a sales background in traditional transport or logistics companies are preferred, and strong sales and marketing capability is important.

Mandatory competencies

  • Consistent personal delivery, adaptability, accountability, and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with booking offices.
  • Persuasion skills to position BlackBuck as a preferred freight partner.
  • Comfort working with multiple teams, especially Demand and Traffic, to close tasks effectively.
  • Clear verbal and written communication for discussions with booking offices and internal teams.
