Cut+Dry is an innovative FoodTech company dedicated to revolutionizing the $300 billion U.S. food supply sector. We deliver a platform that seamlessly links foodservice distributors, customers, and suppliers, streamlining orders, payments, and performance tracking to enhance operational efficiency and profitability in a traditionally complex market.
Our clients seek more than software; they desire committed partners who grasp their industry, align technology to tangible results, and facilitate significant digital transformation.
Role Overview
The Senior Sales Executive will spearhead strategic growth with foodservice distributors, managing full-cycle, consultative sales processes from initial contact to contract finalization and onboarding. This high-level position demands excellence in partnership-driven selling and success in navigating lengthy, multifaceted sales engagements.
As a trusted consultant, you will collaborate with distributor executives across sales, operations, finance, and IT to modernize their sales, payment, and customer service practices via the Cut+Dry platform. Achieving success involves establishing credibility, emphasizing results, and positioning Cut+Dry as a long-term growth ally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sales for targeted foodservice distributor clients—from outreach through contract agreement and internal transitions.
- Create and implement account strategies focusing on significant distributors, cultivating extensive relationships among executive and operational leaders.
- Navigate complex buying cycles involving numerous stakeholders and enterprise-level decision-making.
- Conduct outcome-focused discovery sessions to grasp distributor objectives, operational hurdles, and growth limits.
- Demonstrate Cut+Dry's platform as a strategic asset delivering quantifiable benefits such as enhanced operator engagement, faster receivables, boosted revenues via merchandising, and greater operational efficiencies.
- Deliver presentations and demos tailored to distributor workflows, ERP systems, and digital capabilities.
- Construct strong business cases highlighting ROI and long-term advantages.
- Negotiate pricing and multi-year agreements aligned with corporate goals.
- Maintain diligent CRM records for accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting.
- Consistently achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly revenue targets, managing complex sales processes effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing to fine-tune messaging, enhance lead generation, and execute account-based campaigns.
- Coordinate across internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and sustained distributor success.
Qualifications
- 3 to 7 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in comprehensive consultative roles within complex or traditional sectors.
- Proven ability to close deals from mid-market to enterprise levels with multi-decision-maker groups.
- Preferred experience in foodservice, distribution, logistics, or other operationally intricate settings.
- Skilled in leading outcome-oriented sales discussions and developing ROI-based proposals.
- Excellent communicator with strong discovery, negotiation skills, and executive presence.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments with changing processes.
- Proficient in CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce, with disciplined pipeline management.
- Highly driven, accountable, and effective at independently executing strategies for key accounts.
Benefits and Compensation
- Base salary ranging from $110,000 to $120,000 USD per year.
- On-target earnings (OTE) between $220,000 and $240,000 USD annually.
- Remote work eligibility within the United States or Canada.
- Stock options available.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Unlimited paid time off (PTO).
- A culture that values accountability, impact, and work-life balance.
