Fashion Designer – Women's Wear (Export House)

ARV Global Creations Pvt. Ltd. is a renowned garment export manufacturer specializing in high-end women's wear for global fashion brands. Their expertise lies in crafting evening gowns, bridal gowns, cocktail dresses, corsets, occasion wear, and intricately hand-embellished couture clothing.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design women's wear collections including evening gowns, cocktail dresses, bridal attire, corsets, and occasion-specific outfits.
• Create comprehensive fashion sketches, mood boards, artwork, detailed embroidery layouts, and technical specification packs (Tech Packs).
• Develop marketable garment designs inspired by buyer briefs and international fashion trends.
• Collaborate closely with pattern makers, sampling tailors, merchandisers, embroidery artisans, and production teams to achieve precise sample creation.
• Conduct trend research focusing on global fashion movements, fabric choices, color palettes, garment silhouettes, trims, and embellishment methods.
• Design and prepare embroidery placement maps and surface embellishment plans for luxury apparel.
• Ensure that designs remain feasible for production processes while preserving superior quality and aesthetic appeal.
• Maintain thorough records including design documentation, fabric swatches, artwork samples, buyer inspirations, and sample files.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth expertise in women's apparel and garment construction strategies.
• Practical skills in couture garment techniques such as corsetry, structural silhouettes, fabric draping, and luxury finishings.
• Proficiency with hand embroidery and embellishment techniques, including sequins, cutdana, bugle beads, crystals, pearls, appliqué, and surface decoration.
• Comprehensive understanding of luxury fabrics like satin, silk, organza, chiffon, georgette, tulle, net, crepe, velvet, and lace.
• Skilled in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent design software; familiarity with TUKAcad or CLO 3D software is advantageous.
• Strong attention to creativity, detail orientation, effective communication, and teamwork capability.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in export garment manufacturing, luxury women’s wear, couture, bridal wear, evening gowns, embellished garments, or working within buying houses is highly desirable.
• A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design or relevant fields is required.
