Role Responsibilities
The Information Management Specialist will be stationed full-time onsite in Dubai. Key duties encompass designing, implementing, and managing processes and systems for efficient storage, organization, security, and retrieval of company information spanning various projects and departments. Responsibilities include administering document and record management systems, ensuring adherence to internal policies and relevant regulatory frameworks, and maintaining reliable, updated data repositories to support both operational and strategic activities. Collaboration with project, finance, legal, and IT departments is vital to standardize information flow, enhance data quality, and facilitate informed decision making through superior information governance. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting information-related challenges, supporting end-user training sessions, and driving ongoing enhancements in information management methods and tools.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated analytical abilities for data interpretation and streamlining information workflows to underpin evidence-based decisions.
- Expertise in information management principles covering policies, standards, and governance of both structured and unstructured data.
- Proven experience in records management including classification, retention cycles, archiving procedures, and compliance with legal and regulatory conditions.
- Familiarity with document management systems, encompassing version control, access rights management, and secure storage solutions.
- Fundamental IT competencies such as experience with enterprise content management systems, database management, and cloud technology tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library and Information Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or closely related disciplines.
- Meticulous attention to detail paired with robust organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple information streams effectively in dynamic environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage productively with cross-functional teams and support users.
- Background in real estate, property development, or related project-based industries is a beneficial addition.
- Understanding of data privacy principles and best practices for securing sensitive information.
