Experienced Home Care Scheduler (WellSky Required)

Position Overview

Senior Helpers of Baltimore & Central Maryland invites experienced Home Care Schedulers proficient in WellSky Personal Care to join our team. This full-time, in-office Monday through Friday role is vital in ensuring dependable and consistent home care services. As Maryland's only CHAP Age-Friendly Care at Home Certified agency, we prioritize exceptional scheduling to enhance client and caregiver experiences.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee daily caregiver scheduling using WellSky Personal Care software.
• Efficiently fill open shifts, maintaining continuity of care for clients.
• Address caregiver call-offs, schedule adjustments, and urgent staffing needs promptly.
• Match caregivers to clients based on skills, preferences, needs, and location.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers through effective communication.
• Anticipate staffing challenges and resolve them before impacting service quality.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, HR, Client Care, and Operations teams to prepare caregivers for scheduling.
• Maintain precise scheduling documentation and records.
• Enhance scheduling efficiency, caregiver utilization, and care consistency.
• Support agency growth by delivering outstanding customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two years of home care agency scheduling experience.
• Proven hands-on expertise with WellSky Personal Care (formerly ClearCare).
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced home care scheduling environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Candidates without home care scheduling and WellSky experience will not be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage between $24 and $28, commensurate with experience.
