About the Role
Senior Helpers in Edmonton is looking to bring on companions right away for a meaningful full-time position supporting older adults. This role is a good fit for people with backgrounds in assisted living, independent living, senior living, nursing homes, home care, or healthcare, and it is also open to applicants without a healthcare background.
Working with Senior Helpers offers the chance to build a rewarding in-home relationship with clients while helping improve their day-to-day quality of life. The team matches your experience and strengths with the seniors you support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with assigned instrumental activities of daily living.
- Offer companionship and emotional encouragement through conversation and recreational engagement.
- Help with home tasks such as preparing meals and keeping the living space tidy.

- A caring, compassionate approach and a genuine desire to help others.
- Openness to learning new skills to better support clients.
- Prior experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance is an advantage.
