Position Overview

Senior Helpers of Baltimore & Central Maryland invites experienced Home Care Schedulers proficient in WellSky Personal Care to join our team. This full-time, in-office Monday through Friday role is vital in ensuring dependable and consistent home care services. As Maryland's only CHAP Age-Friendly Care at Home Certified agency, we prioritize exceptional scheduling to enhance client and caregiver experiences.

Role Responsibilities

Oversee daily caregiver scheduling using WellSky Personal Care software.
Efficiently fill open shifts, maintaining continuity of care for clients.
Address caregiver call-offs, schedule adjustments, and urgent staffing needs promptly.
Match caregivers to clients based on skills, preferences, needs, and location.
Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers through effective communication.
Anticipate staffing challenges and resolve them before impacting service quality.
Collaborate with Recruiting, HR, Client Care, and Operations teams to prepare caregivers for scheduling.
Maintain precise scheduling documentation and records.
Enhance scheduling efficiency, caregiver utilization, and care consistency.
Support agency growth by delivering outstanding customer service.

Required Qualifications

Minimum two years of home care agency scheduling experience.
Proven hands-on expertise with WellSky Personal Care (formerly ClearCare).
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced home care scheduling environment.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
Candidates without home care scheduling and WellSky experience will not be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage between $24 and $28, commensurate with experience.
Full-time hours from Monday to Friday during the day.
