Position Overview

This role of Assistant Vice President in Event Marketing for the Private Bank is based in New York, NY, with collaboration across London and Geneva offices. The position encompasses management of a diverse array of projects, events, and daily operational tasks mainly focused on the US market, with some international responsibilities. Strong organizational skills and timely delivery are critical, reporting to the Head of Marketing for US & Europe International. The role collaborates closely with events, communications, and marketing teams to support the Wealth Management business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan, organize, and execute regional in-person, virtual, and hybrid events centered on business partnerships.
  • Work with teams and stakeholders across US and Europe International to meet event objectives while ensuring seamless event management and client engagement.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership and offices to facilitate smooth client invitation processes.
  • Manage event budgets, monitor expenditures against purchase orders, reconcile costs, and pursue cost-saving initiatives.
  • Oversee and improve client experience through event journeys and optimize coordination processes among regional teams.
  • Generate detailed registration and attendance reports providing insightful, data-driven business analyses.
  • Ensure all event activities comply with legal and internal policies by liaising with Legal and Compliance departments.
  • Assist in creating event materials including branding, digital and print assets, and promotional items while ensuring brand consistency.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of digital marketing channels such as SEO, social media, email campaigns, and paid media.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Content teams on guest communications including pre-event outreach, invitations, post-event follow-up, and digital content creation.
  • Produce comprehensive post-event reports delivering insights and actionable recommendations based on feedback from stakeholders and vendors.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams globally on event logistics including partners, venues, and cross-divisional agency collaboration.
  • Contribute to various ad hoc projects supporting the overall business strategy.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field combined with internship or project experience, alongside significant event management experience within financial services, ideally in Wealth Management or luxury sectors.
  • Ability to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively with an international team.
  • High attention to detail and dedication to prompt, quality deliverables.
  • Capable of maintaining performance under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation, and organizational capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, for event coordination and client meetings.

Additional Skills Beneficial to Success

  • Confident communication across diverse levels and networks.
  • Understanding of branding and design principles supported by proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

The salary range for this position is $110000 - $129000 annually, varying based on qualifications and location. Incentive compensation is additional.
