About the Location
Positioned on the Saudi Arabian western coast, The Red Sea is an emerging luxury beach destination featuring stunning natural islands and lagoons spanning 200 kilometers. The Four Seasons Resort will be situated on Shura Island, acting as the central hub with a yacht marina, leisure facilities, retail venues, an 18-hole golf course, and more. Developed sustainably with conservation in mind, it uses renewable energy and careful planning to protect marine life while offering a superior travel experience. The resort will have around 149 rooms and suites with spectacular sea views, six dining outlets, event spaces, a marine discovery center, and distinct amenities like a full-service spa, outdoor pools, tennis courts, and dedicated family and adult beaches.
Role Overview
As Engineering Supervisor for the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea pre-opening team, you will be instrumental in maintaining the resort's infrastructure and systems. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Engineering, your leadership will ensure maintenance activities run smoothly and meet the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering technicians in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks throughout the resort.
- Address guest requests, operational challenges, and emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Conduct inspections of guest accommodations, public areas, and service zones to uphold engineering and safety standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation for all equipment and repairs.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to ensure safety awareness and technical proficiency.
- Promote and support sustainability and energy conservation efforts within the resort's operations.
- Work closely with other departments to guarantee seamless service delivery and facility functionality.
Candidate Profile
- This position is designated for Saudi nationals in accordance with Saudization regulations.
- A minimum supervisory experience of 2 to 3 years in engineering or maintenance roles, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts.
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and leadership qualities with a practical, solution-focused approach.
- Previous experience in a pre-opening environment is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and valid authorization to work in Saudi Arabia are required.
