Role Overview
This position offers a unique blend of supporting individuals with employment barriers and engaging employers to facilitate sustainable job placements. Located at the easily accessible Blair Athol site in South Australia, the role is pivotal in making a positive difference by assisting candidates to gain confidence, build employment skills, and secure lasting jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance and coaching to participants, including those with disabilities, injuries, or long-term unemployment, to prepare them for employment.
- Promote and market candidates to prospective employers and generate new job opportunities through outreach activities.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with local businesses to develop sustainable employment pathways.
- Drive employment outcomes by actively engaging with both participants and employers and advocating their interests.
- Advise participants on resume development, job search tactics, and available training opportunities.
- Facilitate employer engagement through cold calling, visits, and business development efforts to maintain and expand the employer network.
- Negotiate arrangements such as job trials, work experience opportunities, and wage subsidies to support placements.
- Manage compliance requirements, maintain relevant documentation, and monitor participant progress.
- Celebrate participants' employment milestones and successful outcomes.
Success Metrics
- Achievement of strong employment outcomes for participants.
- Expansion and engagement of a network of local employers.
- Consistent attainment of key performance indicators related to placements and participant engagement.
- Facilitation of long-term job placements that positively transform lives.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, or roles involving customer interaction.
- A passion for supporting individuals in overcoming employment barriers.
- Resilience, goal orientation, and motivation to meet targets.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Right to work in Australia.
- Possession of a current driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Possession of a Standard level MyGovID.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
- Ability to pass a Working with Children Check.
- Availability to work full-time hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
