About the role

The Employment Consultant position brings together coaching, sales, marketing, and business development. You will support participants in the Inclusive Employment Australia program while actively presenting their strengths to employers and identifying new employment openings.

This role is outcomes-focused, with success depending on your ability to influence hiring decisions, develop employer networks, and position candidates effectively in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Coach participants by building trust, understanding their employment goals, and supporting job readiness.
• Work with employers to promote suitable candidates, encourage inclusive hiring, and secure placements.
• Create new opportunities through cold calling, employer visits, and proactive business development activity.
• Deliver results by meeting KPI expectations, maintaining a healthy employer pipeline, and turning leads into sustainable jobs.
• Handle documentation, scheduling, and reporting in line with program and compliance requirements.

About you

You will be confident speaking with employers and developing professional relationships. A background in sales, recruitment, business development, or other customer-facing work will be valuable. Requirements

• You must be eligible to work in Australia.
• A current driver’s licence and a vehicle with comprehensive insurance are required.
• Standard-level MyGovID is needed.
• You must be able to pass both a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.
• You need to be available Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
