Role overview

This opportunity is for an Employment Consultant based at the Cannington, Western Australia site, working within the Inclusive Employment Australia Program. The role is focused on helping people with disability move into meaningful work and supporting them so they can stay in employment over time.

What the role involves

You will work with participants to identify suitable job pathways, prepare them for work, and help them secure and maintain sustainable employment. The position also involves building confidence, helping people recognise their strengths, and removing barriers that may affect their success at work.

  • Support participants with disability in preparing for, finding, and keeping suitable employment.
  • Help people build self-belief, identify strengths, and approach new work opportunities with confidence.
  • Develop practical and creative solutions to overcome employment barriers.
  • Advocate for inclusive hiring and workplace adjustments.
  • Recognise placement milestones and celebrate achievements with participants.
  • Build partnerships with employers that value diversity and inclusion.
