Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will exhibit expertise in senior management within multifaceted ICT or technology-driven settings, preferably in the public sector or regulated environments. Key attributes include:
- Broad knowledge of multiple ICT areas with strategic and operational leadership capabilities
- Effective complex problem-solving and decision-making skills impacting the organization broadly
- Advanced critical thinking for risk identification and formulation of strategic recommendations
- Proven experience advising senior executives on operational, fiscal, workforce, and governance issues with an understanding of wider organizational consequences
- Strong business analysis skills, including problem identification, options evaluation, and implementation planning
- Sound grasp of public sector financial management principles applicable to ICT budgeting and accountability
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies, standards, and agreements within statutory rules
- Exceptional written communication for concise, clear, and persuasive executive briefings and reports
- High-level interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to influence outcomes and build trust without formal authority
