About the Role
Our partner organization based in Saudi Arabia is searching for a Director of Talent & People to lead and expand their talent management and people operations functions within a dynamic, fast-growing tech environment. This role allows you to architect systems and strategies that empower teams and foster a thriving organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the comprehensive Talent and People strategy, ensuring organizational structures and processes align with growth objectives.
- Drive talent acquisition planning and execution, optimizing quality, speed, and reliability of hiring company-wide.
- Oversee and mentor the recruiting team, establishing scalable hiring procedures for diverse departments and geographical locations.
- Engage directly in recruiting efforts at executive and leadership levels, enhancing interview methodologies and candidate experience.
- Implement efficient people operations infrastructures, encompassing onboarding, offboarding, documentation, policies, and employee support systems.
- Cultivate a robust employee journey by clarifying roles, responsibilities, reporting lines, and expectations across the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and operational refinements.
- Establish performance management, feedback mechanisms, career development paths, and retention initiatives to boost employee engagement and growth.
- Monitor organizational health through data-driven people metrics and proactively identify talent-related risks.
- Serve as a strategic adviser to executives, delivering actionable solutions and founding systems for sustainable long-term scaling.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 5 to 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, people operations, or leadership roles in related fields.
- Proven track record supporting organizations with over 100 employees, preferably within rapidly expanding startups, agencies, or tech companies.
- Leadership experience managing recruiting teams and overseeing end-to-end hiring processes.
- Deep understanding of people operations in remote-first or globally distributed work environments.
- Competence in building recruiting frameworks, onboarding programs, performance evaluation systems, and employee development initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with founders, senior executives, or leadership on strategic workforce decisions.
- Strong judgment and decision-making abilities capable of navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Proactive, ownership-driven attitude focused on execution, problem-solving, and continuous advancement.
- Exceptional communication skills to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced settings where system creation and process development are essential.
