About Rippling

Rippling offers an integrated platform that consolidates HR, IT, and Finance functions in one place, simplifying management of payroll, expenses, benefits, and technology devices across the employee lifecycle. Their platform enables onboarding new hires globally within 90 seconds, covering payroll setup, devices, benefits, and apps like Slack and Microsoft 365. Headquartered in San Francisco, Rippling has raised over $1.4 billion from top investors and has been recognized as a leading startup employer.

Role Overview

As Director of Marketing for EMEA, you will spearhead the development and execution of marketing strategies across the region. This role involves leading high-impact demand generation and brand awareness campaigns that drive new logo revenue, partner growth, customer retention, and expansion. You will collaborate closely with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals. This pivotal role supports Rippling's international expansion with a focus on core markets UKI and Germany, as well as emerging markets including Nordics, France, Iberia, and MENA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a scalable marketing engine across EMEA to accelerate ARR, referral partner contributions, customer retention, and expansion.
  • Lead localized marketing strategies for UKI and Germany encompassing demand generation, branding, product marketing, partner marketing, and sales collaboration.
  • Develop cost-effective, adaptable marketing approaches for additional EMEA regions balancing local customization with efficiency.
  • Manage full-funnel campaign execution across social media, email, paid ads, direct mail, webinars, content syndication, events, partner marketing, and SDR outreach.
  • Build and guide a high-performing marketing team, empowering individual ownership and leadership growth.
  • Foster close partnership with Sales and SDR leaders to align on key performance indicators such as ARR, pipeline, SQO, CAC, and conversion metrics.
  • Increase brand awareness and affinity in EMEA through culturally relevant PR initiatives, outdoor advertising, and other strategic tactics.
  • Enhance local partner marketing strategies to boost referral and channel-driven growth in priority markets.
  • Lead local product marketing and go-to-market tactics, including competitor analysis, tailored messaging, sales enablement, and localization of global playbooks.
  • Collaborate with corporate US teams for brand, product marketing, customer marketing, growth, and content to localize and leverage customer success stories targeting EMEA buyers.
  • Establish a robust operational rhythm tracking market, segment, and channel performance to prioritize initiatives based on data analytics.
  • Define when deep market localization is essential versus when scalable regional campaigns are sufficient for efficient expansion.

Qualifications

  • More than 12 years experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, and regional marketing leadership, preferably within SaaS or technology sectors.
  • Proven success in building and managing comprehensive marketing programs that generate pipeline, revenue, and customer expansion.
  • Direct experience leading EMEA marketing activities, ideally with knowledge of UKI and German markets.
  • Expertise balancing detailed strategies in mature markets with scalable approaches in emerging regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with regional sales, SDR teams, and US corporate functions.
  • Strong operational and execution skills to manage both strategic planning and urgent implementation.
  • Ability to combine creativity in branding and storytelling with analytic, data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfort in a fast-growth, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across hierarchical levels and functional teams.
  • A bias for action with a willingness to quickly test, learn from failures, and scale effective initiatives.
  • Bonus: Experience marketing to HR, Finance, or Operations audiences in EMEA.
