About The Grace
The Grace Westport Estate represents a distinguished new hotel destination located on Ireland's scenic Wild Atlantic Way, situated in the heart of Westport Estate.
Role Overview
The Director of Food and Beverage will lead and oversee all food and beverage operations within the hotel. This encompasses management of restaurants, bars, room service, banquet operations, and kitchen areas. The individual in this role is accountable for elevating guest satisfaction, optimizing financial results, ensuring high-quality service, and guiding the leadership team in accordance with the hotel's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to the entire Food & Beverage division in alignment with the hotel's strategic goals, brand promise, and guest service expectations.
- Supervise daily operational activities across all F&B outlets ensuring operational effectiveness and superior service standards.
- Uphold luxury service principles by consistently monitoring guest feedback and applying improvements to enhance customer experiences.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns, including seasonal menus, signature experiences, and special events that support business growth.
- Coach and inspire the Food & Beverage management team fostering a workplace culture based on accountability, teamwork, and active employee engagement.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll forecasting, and evaluate staff performance to maximize resource efficiency within budgetary constraints.
- Work in close partnership with the General Manager and Food & Beverage heads of departments to ensure unified operational execution.
- Achieve revenue targets and improve operational cost efficiency through focused management actions.
- Control purchasing and departmental spending, maintaining adherence to the hotel’s budget and procurement policies.
Required Experience and Skills
- Between 5 to 7 years of career progression in food and beverage, with a minimum of 3 years holding a senior management position.
- Previous experience within luxury or comprehensive service hotel environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities along with strong skills in budgeting and effective communication.
- Familiarity with food and beverage operational systems.
- Must be eligible to work legally in Ireland.
