Job description

About the role

Grüns is expanding quickly, with multiple brands in the portfolio and a steady flow of launches to coordinate. The Director of Go-to-Market & Business Strategy will be responsible for managing every stage of product and campaign launches from early concepting through after-launch review. This is a central coordination role that keeps launch plans moving, aligns teams across functions, and ensures leaders have clear visibility without needing constant follow-up. You will report to the VP of GTM and serve as the operational anchor that turns launch plans into successful market entries.

This position sits within a fully remote HQ environment built on trust, with the team also gathering twice a year for in-person offsites.

Project management and launch planning

  • Take ownership of the full launch process, starting with concept development and continuing through post-launch analysis, while creating detailed schedules with key milestone and critical-path tracking.
  • Maintain shared documentation and keep stakeholders aligned to deadlines so launch plans stay on track across teams.
  • Support operational readiness by coordinating inventory, packaging, and fulfillment timing to reduce delays and avoid workflow issues.

Stakeholder communication and leadership updates

  • Run strategic kickoff meetings and provide organized progress and risk updates to executive leadership.
  • Act as the primary link between departments by translating detailed project information into practical next steps.
  • Use a strong grasp of business strategy to identify issues early and help drive quick resolution.

Process improvement and scaling

  • Refine GTM playbooks and post-launch retrospectives so launch planning and execution continue to improve over time.
  • Develop scalable systems and improve project management tools to support a growing launch calendar across multiple brands.
  • Create better AI-supported workflows and reporting for end-to-end launch program management.
  • Assess the return on previous launches and feed those learnings into future launch strategy.

Experience and working style

The ideal candidate brings 8-10+ years of experience in project management or GTM/strategic operations within DTC, CPG, or eCommerce, with the ability to juggle several complex initiatives at once. Strong cross-functional leadership is needed across product, finance, operations, and marketing, along with confidence using project management platforms. You should have solid business judgment, experience building launch templates, and the ability to plan capacity thoughtfully. Decisions should be guided by post-launch data while still considering the broader business impact.

Success in this role also depends on being a strategic partner with strong curiosity, diplomacy, and the ability to influence without direct authority. Clear, calm communication is essential, especially under pressure, as is knowing what information to share, with whom, and when. The role calls for someone who can anticipate risks, prepare backup plans, adapt quickly when priorities change, and take personal ownership of launch outcomes.

How to apply

Applicants are asked to submit their information and answer a few questions directly. The company asks candidates not to use ChatGPT or similar tools while completing the application, so the team can better understand each person’s natural communication style and thinking.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary for this position is $160,000 to $180,000, plus bonus, depending on experience. Grüns also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
