Job description

About the Company and Role

Our client is a leading technology group specializing in security technology, electronics, and system integration. The company operates with robust, medium-sized enterprise structures and long-standing B2B and B2G customer relationships. Considering current security policy developments, the company is set for continued growth in the upcoming years. They are looking for a Senior Transformation Consultant to oversee the optimization and development of complex business processes across diverse areas including development, production, sales, and their interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for advancing process improvements across the entire corporate group.
  • Independently manage and ensure quality control for complex transformation and optimization initiatives.
  • Advise executive leadership on organizational development and coordinate with external partners and experts.
  • Maintain strict monitoring of results and budgets.
  • Drive and institutionalize change management for lasting impact within the company.
  • Provide regular reports and work closely with holding and subsidiary company executives.
  • Prioritize project portfolios across all subsidiaries.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and establish best practices group-wide.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering Sciences, or Computer Science (Diploma or Master's level).
  • Experience spanning 8 to 15 years, with substantial tenure in consultancy for medium enterprises or transformation projects; leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Strong methodological expertise in optimizing sales and production processes using Lean, Kaizen, value stream analysis, and/or agile methods like Scrum.
  • Proven track record in independently managing projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Familiarity with SME environments or similarly complex organizational structures.
  • Willingness to travel 20–40%, mainly within Germany initially, with prospects for international travel.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on results and execution drive.
  • Ability to switch seamlessly between strategic analysis and hands-on operational involvement.
  • Persuasive communication skills without formal authority, effective both on the shop floor and within management.
  • Organized working style coupled with high analytical competence and mastery of methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Resilience, directness, and reliability, even under challenging project conditions.

Benefits

  • Key role with genuine influence and direct access to company and subsidiary executives.
  • Diverse project portfolio spanning multiple fields—avoiding routine.
  • Hybrid working model based out of Hamburg with required travel to subsidiaries.
  • Competitive compensation package including a fixed salary and performance-dependent bonus.
  • Entrepreneurial environment free from bureaucracy where decisions are actioned promptly.
  • Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in the future.
