About the Role
Join a well-established manufacturing company in Gurugram as a Deputy Manager - Maintenance for the Rubber Division. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the upkeep and reliability of all machinery, equipment, and utilities to maintain optimal production standards. You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and that any maintenance required is completed to the highest standard in accordance with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance of all equipment, machinery, and utilities, ensuring they operate under set standard conditions.
- Manage the inventory and timely availability of spare parts to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including machinery history cards, preventive and predictive maintenance logs, and breakdown records.
- Implement and document POKA YOKE (mistake-proofing) measures for machinery and processes.
- Monitor electrical usage and maintain records of electrical readings.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of electrical panels and oversee systems like SCADA and PLC.
- Participate in Environmental Management System (EMS) related tasks to uphold compliance and sustainability standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Background in mechanical, production, manufacturing, automobile, plastics, or mechatronics engineering (B.Tech, B.E., diploma, or vocational qualifications accepted).
- Solid understanding of SCADA, PLC, and electrical panels.
- Proficiency in maintaining technical documentation and equipment records.
- Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and POKA YOKE implementation.
- Experience in monitoring and documenting energy consumption and other relevant EMS activities.
