Role Overview
As a Quick Service Depot Manager in Nashik, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the depot, ensuring smooth warehouse management, accurate inventory control, and efficient logistics. The role requires coordination among multiple teams to guarantee prompt last-mile delivery, adherence to safety regulations, and effective problem-solving regarding operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and control all activities related to warehouse functions, including incoming, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Establish, implement, and monitor compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor inventory by conducting routine audits to ensure accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP software to track stock movement and verify First-In-First-Out (FIFO) procedures are followed.
- Handle return processes efficiently and address operational challenges as they arise.
- Work closely with sales and logistics departments to facilitate uninterrupted workflow.
- Oversee last-mile delivery operations to ensure delivery timelines and turnaround targets are met.
- Plan and coordinate deliveries and pick-ups to align with customer specifications.
- Optimize usage of warehouse space and improve material handling processes.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols, organizational policies, and local legal requirements.
- Conduct safety training, routine audits, and workplace inspections to uphold standards.
- Promptly escalate unresolved operational issues for appropriate action and follow-up.
