Role Overview
We seek a Customer Care Specialist dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service by efficiently handling and routing inquiries through verbal communication.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls from members with professionalism and attentiveness.
- Offer phone-based assistance ensuring first call resolution is a key focus.
- Manage and respond promptly to customer inquiries as they arrive.
- Forward requests appropriately to prevent repeated issues and ensure swift resolutions, especially for escalated cases.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of the Vitality program to improve member experiences continually.
- Identify gaps or issues in current processes and contribute innovative solutions.
- Monitor, analyze, and report improvements related to operational processes.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to internal teams and external customers, tailoring messages to audience needs and anticipating follow-up questions.
- Report operational concerns by logging tickets to address system-related problems.
- Educate members on program details and web navigation.
- Record submitted events accurately.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Compensation
The position offers an hourly wage of $16.50.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum education: High School Diploma.
Preferred Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
