It helps advertisers engage authentically with Reddit's communities while driving meaningful business results. KarmaLab collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Product teams, and advertisers to craft compelling campaigns and storytelling tailored for Reddit.
Role Overview
This London-based role on the KarmaLab International team seeks a Creative Strategist to contribute to Reddit's expanding international efforts. The strategist will develop creative strategies for multiple advertisers, work closely with Sales to pitch and recommend strategic ideas, and guide brands on how to maintain authenticity on Reddit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative campaign strategies and creative concepts for EMEA advertisers that resonate authentically with Reddit's audience.
- Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams on client pitches, RFPs, presentations, workshops, and storytelling.
- Serve as a platform expert and creative consultant specifically for finance-related clients and partners.
- Create strategic narratives, presentation content, and Reddit-centric ideas aimed at generating business impact.
- Train internal sales teams and external collaborators on best practices for creative use of Reddit.
- Work alongside senior strategists to fulfill ongoing creative strategy requirements across major accounts and sectors.
Candidate Profile
- Strategic thinker with strong creative intuition and deep understanding of internet culture, especially Reddit's behaviors and tone.
- Confident communicator comfortable in client-facing and internal conversations, capable of navigating fast-paced and ambiguous situations.
- Collaborative and solution-focused approach with the ability to bridge brands' objectives and community engagement.
- Ability to think from multiple perspectives including Reddit users, brands, and business partners concurrently.
- Skilled at organizing complex scenarios and clarifying open-ended briefs.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of professional experience in creative roles, strategic planning, media, or social media management.
- Clear understanding of collaborative dynamics between creative, media, and brand teams.
- Track record managing several briefs and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience composing strategic frameworks, campaign narratives, and pitch decks.
- Proficient with Google Slides or Keynote; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Background in agency or in-house creative strategy preferred.
Location and Work Setup
This role requires presence in the London office at least three days a week.
