Role Overview

We are seeking a Creative Strategist, specializing as a Direct Response Copywriter, to lead the creative vision behind our advertising on Meta platforms. This role involves crafting compelling hooks, scripts, video sales letters, and advertorials that effectively drive customer acquisition and contribute to our business expansion. You will collaborate directly with the Founder and coordinate with Video Editors and User-Generated Content creators, using data insights to refine advertising campaigns continually.

Key Responsibilities

• Design persuasive advertising concepts tailored for Meta and other paid social media channels.
• Create engaging Hooks, Leads, Scripts, Video Sales Letters (VSLs), Native Ads, Advertorials, and long-form sales content.
• Perform competitive and market research utilizing platforms like Meta Ad Library and TikTok.
• Develop creative angles informed by consumer psychology, awareness stages, market sophistication, and customer insights.
• Prepare detailed creative briefs for the creative production team including Video Editors and UGC Creators.
• Assess campaign results to optimize and enhance creative strategies based on performance data.
• Produce diverse variations of successful creative ideas to boost advertising outcomes.
• Work closely with Marketing, Creative, and Performance teams to align strategies and execution.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as a Direct Response Copywriter or Creative Strategist.
• In-depth knowledge of direct response marketing principles, consumer awareness levels, market complexity, and consumer behavior patterns.
• Proficiency in crafting various advertising copy formats including Meta Ads, VSLs, Native Ads, Advertorials, Landing Pages, and scripts for performance marketing.
• Strong analytical and research abilities with skill in interpreting advertising metrics to enhance creative materials.
• Excellent written communication capabilities.
• Ability to efficiently work independently within a dynamic, fast-moving setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within DTC or eCommerce environments.
• Proven track record in scaling Meta paid advertising campaigns.
• Familiarity with key performance indicators such as CTR, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, ROAS, CPA, CAC, and MER.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Creative Strategists, Media Buyers, Designers, Video Editors, and UGC talent.
• Knowledge of AI-driven tools including ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent for productivity enhancement.
