Co-Founder & CEO - Entrepreneur in Residence

The Opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a seasoned, imaginative entrepreneur to join as a co-founder on its next B2B AI company. This is an ownership-based founder partnership with meaningful equity, not a traditional paid executive position.

The role is aimed at repeat founders who may already be exploring an early-stage concept, or those who want to team up with FutureSight to test, shape, and launch a new business together. You will collaborate with the studio team to challenge assumptions, discard ideas that do not prove out, and take the strongest concept from idea stage through fundraising and beyond.

This is a full-time commitment where you will exclusively focus on building and owning one B2B AI venture from scratch.

FutureSight is a venture studio that partners with values-driven founders to build software businesses from the ground up and scale them through exit. The team includes founders, operators, and designers with deep experience taking software products to market.

You will be building alongside an accomplished studio team led by John Carbrey (4x entrepreneur, $100M ARR), Krista LaRiviere (3x exited, E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur), Alan Smith (Strategyzer co-founder, $120M in products built), Prathna Ramesh (former MD of Maple Leaf Angels, $275M in follow-on capital), and Johnny Tong (0-to-1 builder, acquired by SAP and Stripe). Together, they bring a strong blend of operating experience, investing expertise, and AI product knowledge.

The Partnership

• Equity-based founder partnership with substantial ownership from day one
• Pre-seed funding from FutureSight to support early hires and MVP work, with room for follow-on capital
• Access to venture-building support across design, engineering, growth, and fundraising from the start
• Connections to investors and advisors in vertical AI and early-stage capital
• Collaborative operating model where you serve as CEO while FutureSight acts as your cross-functional partner

What You Will Own

• Validation: Work with the team to test and refine the early idea, build prototypes to assess demand, and be willing to abandon concepts that do not hold up before committing to the best one
• Strategy: Determine the ideal customer profile, pricing approach, and product positioning for the validated opportunity
• Customer Development: Run pilots, convert them into paid work, and establish the go-to-market engine
• Product: Collaborate with FutureSight's product and engineering team to launch version one and improve it based on user input
• Capital: Drive pre-seed and seed fundraising with support from FutureSight's network and early traction
• Team: Hire and lead the founding team while shaping the company culture

Co-Founder Profile

• Prior experience founding a venture-backed company
• Strong track record in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer-facing work
• Comfort building investor stories and closing fundraising rounds
• Ability to recruit, grow, and keep strong talent
• Practical understanding of the risks and intensity involved in building a venture-backed startup
• Broad startup experience with strength in one major function such as sales, technology, product, design, or marketing
• Industry expertise or domain knowledge that provides an edge, along with real enthusiasm for solving problems in that space
