Co-Founder & CEO - AI E-commerce Operations System

Opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a Co-Founder & CEO to build and lead Omnex, an AI-first operating system for sellers running multi-channel ecommerce businesses. This is a founder partnership with meaningful equity, not a paid executive position.

Many ecommerce companies still rely on disconnected tools and manual coordination. Teams selling through Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, and similar channels spend their time moving between systems, reconciling inconsistent data, and making repeated decisions across pricing, inventory, marketing, fulfillment, and customer support.

The addressable market is a global ecommerce economy that now exceeds $1 trillion in annual GMV, with millions of sellers operating across several channels but still lacking a single intelligence layer to run the business end to end.

Market Context

Omnex is designed to replace fragmented workflows with an autonomous, multi-agent AI workforce. Rather than adding another dashboard, it continuously understands the business, reasons across all sales channels, and takes proactive action on operational decisions such as pricing optimization, inventory planning, advertising management, demand forecasting, and customer support coordination. Each AI agent works from the same business context, improves from results, and collaborates to improve overall company performance.

About FutureSight

FutureSight is a venture studio that partners with values-driven founders to create software businesses from idea stage through exit. The team includes founders, operators, and designers who have repeatedly taken products to market at scale.

You will co-build with an experienced studio team led by John Carbrey (4x entrepreneur, $100M ARR), Krista LaRiviere (3x exited, E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur), Alan Smith (Strategyzer co-founder, $120M in products built), Prathna Ramesh (former MD of Maple Leaf Angels, $275M in follow-on capital), and Johnny Tong (0-to-1 builder, acquired by SAP and Stripe). Together, they bring experience across operator exits, institutional investing, and AI product development.

What You Will Own

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will define the company’s direction and drive execution.

• Shape the strategy by sharpening the ICP, pricing approach, and product positioning.
• Own customer development by running pilots with ecommerce sellers, turning them into paying customers, and building the go-to-market engine.
• Work with the FutureSight product and engineering team to deliver the first version of the product and improve it using user feedback.
• Lead the seed fundraise with support from FutureSight’s network and early traction.
• Hire and guide the founding team while setting the company’s cultural foundation.

Co-Founder Profile

• You have previously founded a venture-backed company.
• You bring strong B2B SaaS go-to-market experience, including sales and customer engagement.
• You understand fundraising well enough to build a compelling investor story and close capital.
• You have shown an ability to attract, develop, and keep strong talent.
• You understand the realities and risks of building a venture-backed company as a co-founder.
• You have direct ecommerce exposure, whether by operating a multi-channel business, selling software into the space, or building tools for ecommerce sellers at scale.
• You are connected to the ecommerce seller ecosystem, including Amazon sellers, Shopify operators, and 3PL partners.
