Co-Founder & CEO - Entrepreneur in Residence

The Opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a seasoned entrepreneur to join as a co-founder for its next B2B AI business. This is a genuine founder partnership with meaningful equity, not a paid executive position.

The role is suited to repeat founders who already have an early-stage idea they are exploring, or who want to team up with FutureSight to assess, shape, and launch a new company together. You will work closely with the studio team to test ideas, discard those that do not prove out, and take the strongest opportunity from concept to fundraising and scale.

This is a full-time role that requires exclusive focus on building and owning one B2B AI venture from the ground up.

FutureSight is a venture studio that partners with values-driven founders to build high-quality software companies from the earliest stages through exit. The team brings together founders, operators, and designers who have launched software businesses at scale.

You will collaborate with an experienced studio team led by John Carbrey (4x entrepreneur, $100M ARR), Krista LaRiviere (3x exited, E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur), Alan Smith (Strategyzer co-founder, $120M in products built), Prathna Ramesh (former MD of Maple Leaf Angels, $275M in follow-on capital), and Johnny Tong (0-to-1 builder, acquired by SAP and Stripe), combining operating experience, investing expertise, and AI product knowledge.

The Partnership

• Meaningful founder equity and ownership from day one
• Pre-seed capital already allocated by FutureSight for early team hires and MVP work, with room for additional funding later
• Access to venture-building support, including design, engineering, growth, and fundraising help from the start
• Connections to investors and advisors across vertical AI and early-stage capital markets
• A true co-building arrangement where you act as CEO alongside FutureSight’s cross-functional team

What You Will Own

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will define the direction of the company and drive execution.

• Validation: Work with the team on early testing, market validation, and idea refinement, including prototyping solutions to confirm demand, and be prepared to drop ideas that do not stand up before fully committing to the best one
• Strategy: Shape the target customer profile, pricing approach, and product positioning for the chosen opportunity
• Customer Development: Run pilots, turn them into paid work, and build the go-to-market engine
• Product: Collaborate with FutureSight’s product and engineering team to launch the first version and improve it based on user feedback
• Capital: Take the lead on pre-seed and seed fundraising, with support from FutureSight’s network and early traction
• Team: Hire and guide the founding team while setting the company’s cultural tone

Co-Founder Profile

• Prior experience founding a venture-backed company
• Strong results in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including selling and working closely with customers
• Comfort and fluency with fundraising, including building investor stories and securing capital
• Ability to attract, coach, and keep high-performing talent
• Realistic understanding of the pressure and risk involved in building a venture-backed startup
• A broad generalist background plus strong capability in one startup discipline such as sales, technology, product, design, or marketing
• Domain knowledge or industry insight that creates an edge, along with authentic enthusiasm for solving that market’s problems
