Co-Founder & CEO - Entrepreneur in Residence

The opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a seasoned founder to partner on launching its next B2B AI company. This is a true co-founder arrangement with meaningful equity at the outset, rather than a paid executive position.

The role is suited to repeat entrepreneurs who either already have an early concept they want to test, or who want to work with FutureSight to validate, shape, and build a new business from the ground up. You will collaborate with the studio team to pressure-test ideas, discard those that do not prove out, and take the strongest opportunity from idea stage through fundraising and future growth.

This is a full-time, exclusive commitment focused on building and owning one B2B AI venture.

You will co-build with an experienced studio team led by John Carbrey, a 4x entrepreneur with $100M ARR experience; Krista LaRiviere, a 3x exited founder and E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur; Alan Smith, co-founder of Strategyzer with $120M in products built; Prathna Ramesh, former Managing Director of Maple Leaf Angels with $275M in follow-on capital; and Johnny Tong, a 0-to-1 builder whose work was acquired by SAP and Stripe. Together, they bring deep operator experience, investing expertise, and AI product knowledge.

What you'll own

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will set the direction for the business and carry execution forward.

• Validate the opportunity with the studio team through early testing, prototyping, and refinement, and be willing to abandon concepts that fail to demonstrate promise before committing to the strongest one
• Define the ideal customer profile, pricing strategy, and product positioning for the validated market opportunity
• Run customer development, lead pilots, convert them into paid work, and establish the go-to-market engine
• Work with FutureSight's product and engineering team to launch the first version of the product and improve it based on user feedback
• Take the lead on pre-seed and seed fundraising, using FutureSight's support and early traction
• Hire and guide the founding team while shaping the company's culture from the beginning

Co-founder profile

• Prior experience founding a venture-backed company
• Strong track record in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer-facing work
• Comfort with fundraising, including building investor stories and securing capital
• Ability to attract, develop, and keep high-performing talent
• Realistic understanding of the pressure and commitment involved in building a venture-backed startup
• Broad startup background with depth in at least one core area such as sales, technology, product, design, or marketing
• Domain knowledge or industry insight that creates an advantage, plus genuine motivation to solve problems in that space
