Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual telehealth or in-person coaching, counselling, or therapy-style consultations focused on general advice rather than treatment.
• Deliver the Critical Incident Stress Programme (CISP) either virtually or on-site as required.
• Optional facilitation of webinars and face-to-face seminars.
• Provide support to employees focused on wellbeing, stress management, and resilience building.
• Collaborate with internal clinical teams to enhance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offerings.

Qualifications and Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

Counsellors & Clinical Psychologists:

• Counsellors require a Master's degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Social Work.
• Registration or active membership with ACA, PACFA, or AASW.
• Between 1 to 3 years of supervised counselling experience; internships count if part of licensure requirements.
• Clinical Psychologists must possess a Master's in Clinical Psychology accredited by APAC.
• General registration with AHPRA (Psychology Board of Australia) is necessary.
• Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology preferred or in progress via the Registrar Program.
• 1 to 3 years of supervised clinical practice including internships if applicable.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience working with First Nations/Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Leadership or managerial experience such as coaching managers or supporting HR.
• Background in EAP or workplace coaching/counselling.
• Ability to speak additional languages.
• Availability for occasional in-person sessions.
• Willingness to undergo Police or Working With Children Checks if requested by clients.
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain a Medicare provider number if required by the engagement.
