Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily finance activities covering accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reports.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, financial governance frameworks, and accounting policies.
- Oversee cash flow optimization, working capital management, and financial risk assessment.
- Coordinate independent audits and maintain effective partnerships with external auditors, tax consultants, and accounting firms.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to deliver actionable financial insights and scenario analyses supporting leadership decisions.
- Track organizational performance versus budgets, identify risks and growth opportunities, and enhance transparency of operational and financial metrics.
- Drive cost discipline in general and administrative expenses, procurement, and vendor relations in partnership with department heads.
- Implement scalable financial systems, processes, and reporting structures aligned with rapid company expansion.
- Contribute to finance digitalization and automation projects to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare materials and support board and investor reporting, aid due diligence efforts, fundraising, and organize data rooms as required.
- Lead, coach, and develop a proficient finance team and collaborate with external finance service providers.
- Instill a culture focusing on accuracy, accountability, and continual financial process enhancement across the organization.
- Work cross-functionally to advance financial literacy and embed budget accountability throughout all departments.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
- Between 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, ideally within high-growth startups and well-structured environments.
- Proven expertise in financial control including reporting, compliance, treasury functions, and maintenance of internal controls.
- Experience framing and executing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis.
- Firm grasp of accounting standards, audit management, and financial governance principles.
- Demonstrated ability working with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial consultants.
- Strong analytical aptitude with excellent organizational and problem-resolution capabilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented operator capable of functioning effectively with minimal supervision under fast-paced settings.
- Experience handling multi-entity or multinational finance operations is advantageous.

- Willing to work in Singapore (hybrid model), Malaysia (hybrid), Philippines (remote), or Indonesia (remote).
