Role Overview
The Chief Specialist in Marketing & ROI will spearhead the strategic marketing function within the Roads and Transport Authority. This involves directing comprehensive marketing plans that support agency and sector requirements, focusing on initiatives that enhance road safety awareness and national identity. The role demands a leadership stance on marketing governance, innovation, market research analytics, and continuous product and process improvements anchored in data-driven insights and sustainability principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a strategic marketing plan incorporating cross-agency and sectorial needs alongside road safety projects targeted at diverse audiences.
- Lead marketing governance efforts including managing budgets, setting goals, allocating resources, and ensuring alignment with the authority's overarching strategy and sustainability framework.
- Champion innovation through consumer-focused digital platforms and conduct analyses focused on return on investment to inform strategic priorities.
- Conduct market studies and public sentiment analyses to evaluate brand positioning and corporate reputation effectively.
- Collect and analyze marketing performance metrics such as KPIs and quarterly ROI from campaigns to guide strategy and report departmental impact.
- Design and implement marketing tactics based on benchmarking, market analysis, customer categorization, and beneficiary research to enhance services.
- Ensure precise planning and budget adherence for marketing campaigns and services through attentive logistical coordination.
- Comply with all regulatory and government reporting mandates, maintaining adherence to relevant policies and standards.
- Analyze data and beneficiary feedback to pinpoint service deficiencies and areas for enhancement, subsequently recommending product and service improvements.
- Train internal teams on process excellence, quality standards, and innovation methodologies to maintain service consistency and drive continuous improvement.
- Keep abreast of evolving marketing trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape by leveraging networks and data analytics tools.
- Promote the adoption of AI-powered digital identity management and advanced analytical techniques to make marketing future-ready.
- Assess marketing program effectiveness and apply corrective measures to optimize results where necessary.
- Oversee marketing governance structures focusing on budget, logistics, and quality assurance to guarantee successful project delivery.
- Initiate and guide innovation initiatives aligned with strategic goals to enhance customer value and sales feasibility.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor's degree or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or communications is mandatory.
- A minimum of 9 years of professional experience is required for candidates with a master’s degree; 11 years for those with a bachelor’s degree.
- Proven expertise in advanced marketing campaign planning and execution.
- Strong command of marketing, commercial operations, and pricing strategies.
- Exceptional project management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability in core data analysis and comprehensive reporting.
- Excellent skills in budget management and financial planning.
- Advanced competency in stakeholder engagement and developer coordination.
