Job description
Role Overview
This position involves leading the implementation of the Authority's strategies for managing international partnerships and external relations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and approved communication plans. The role focuses on enhancing strategic relationships, preparing leadership communication content, supporting media and event operations, managing international partnerships, and driving initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Enact the Authority's directives regarding international partnerships and relationship management, consistent with communication strategies.
- Expand and strengthen high-level strategic relationships with regional, local, and international entities in line with organizational priorities.
- Assist in creating and delivering communication plans that highlight leadership narratives.
- Support external communications and media activities through effective planning, monitoring, and reporting of key engagements.
- Prepare performance reports that enable evidence-based leadership decisions concerning external relations and partnerships.
- Oversee the international partner category within RTA, including evaluation of partnership outcomes and value.
- Propose and develop new initiatives compatible with strategic and international engagement objectives.
- Monitor and analyze all international Memoranda of Understanding, preparing annual action plans and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective action.
- Identify information and communication needs of international partners and establish efficient methods to fulfill them.
- Contribute to the creation of the department’s annual planning and strategic business initiatives.
- Support the preparation of executive-level documents such as reports, presentations, speeches, and talking points for senior leadership.
- Develop policies and frameworks for the management of international stakeholder relationships.
- Organize and manage official international delegations and visits, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Liaise with local and federal authorities, embassies, and consulates to secure approvals and handle logistics for official visits and events.
- Maintain and update records of partnership agreements and databases for international collaborations.
- Plan and execute special events and visits for senior officials, maintaining accuracy in agendas and briefings.
- Manage memberships and monitor participation in international organizations to ensure strategic alignment.
- Coordinate participation in conferences, forums, and project follow-ups and handle hosting approvals for international events.
- Work closely with protocol and hospitality units to guarantee compliance with protocol standards and deliver excellent guest experiences.
- Prepare detailed briefing materials, including bios, agendas, talking points, and seating arrangements for meetings with international delegates.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with international government officials and partner organizations.
- Arrange schedules, reports, and analyses to optimize leadership presence and participation in key events.
- Review and assess requests for international delegation visits and event hosting to align with strategic goals.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with international partners and government stakeholders.
- Maintain a comprehensive VIP list of critical government and private sector contacts related to international activities.
- Produce post-event evaluations and concise summary reports for all international engagements.
- Oversee the planning, delivery, and follow-up of the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) and related projects.
- Complete all additional tasks necessary to support the Authority's international relations and leadership priorities.
- Ensure compliance with reporting obligations and regulatory requirements set by government bodies.
