Job description
About the Company
This opportunity is with a healthcare technology company known for a strong culture and solid growth. Compensation can reach up to $250k all-in plus equity. It is especially well suited to professionals with 3–8 years of management consulting experience, or those who have transitioned from consulting into an in-house role at a healthcare company.
About the Role
The Chief of Staff will help keep the organization’s highest-priority initiatives moving, while ensuring the CEO and senior leadership are thoroughly prepared. This role functions as a trusted, low-ego partner who influences outcomes through structure, clarity, and execution rather than formal authority.
Responsibilities
- Support the CEO’s operating rhythm and ensure key meetings are fully prepared and productive.
- Prepare the CEO for critical internal and external discussions, including board, company, customer, and partner meetings.
- Own the materials that support those meetings, such as pre-reads, agendas, decision memos, and synthesized summaries.
- Make sure the right decision context and supporting information are available ahead of each meeting.
- Lead the company’s most important cross-functional programs from start to finish, including integrations, product launches, and go-to-market execution.
- Keep owners aligned and accountable through strong structure, coordination, and visibility into progress.
- Track dependencies closely and flag risks early before they put milestones at risk.
- Drive major transformation work across AI businesses, U.S. and India teams, and multiple functions.
- Convert company OKRs into practical program plans with clear owners, milestones, and accountability mechanisms.
- Ensure cross-entity initiatives remain coordinated when priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders span multiple geographies and business units.
- Act as the bridge between strategy and execution so leadership decisions are translated into actual delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Promote the use of AI tools and workflows across all functions, including sales, marketing, finance, customer success, HR, and operations.
- Identify opportunities for AI to reduce manual work, speed up decisions, and increase output across small teams.
- Work with functional leaders to embed AI into operating routines, reporting, and everyday workflows.
- Turn unstructured inputs into clear analysis, recommended options, and decision support for the CEO and broader organization.
- Create supporting deliverables such as decks, memos, first-pass models, and trackers, using AI tools to multiply output.
- Bring structure and a clear point of view to ambiguous and open-ended questions.
- Act as connective tissue across commercial, product, finance, and customer success teams to keep work aligned and moving.
- Build credibility with senior leaders and managers through preparation, clarity, and follow-through.
- Reduce friction and close coordination gaps between functions.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, strategy and operations, or business operations at a fast-growing health technology company.
- Exposure to health technology or healthcare IT, either through direct experience in a high-growth health tech environment or through deep consulting work with health tech clients.
- Ability to learn the business quickly and contribute credibly in clinical, product, and commercial discussions.
- Proven experience managing large, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders.
- Experience taking programs from scoping through delivery and bringing order to ambiguity.
- Comfort working with technology products, data, and AI concepts.
- Ability to speak credibly with product and engineering leaders and understand how systems work at a technical level.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to reshape personal workflows and produce high-quality output at scale across drafting, research, analysis, and tracking.
- Ability to explain concrete examples of what has been automated or built using AI.
- Experience at a top-tier firm such as MBB or comparable is strongly aligned with the role.
Perks
- Compensation package of up to $250k all-in plus equity.
- Opportunity to join a company with a strong culture and growth trajectory.
- Remote work arrangement with some travel.
- Exposure to high-impact leadership, strategic initiatives, and AI-driven transformation.
Additional Information
The role is based in San Francisco or New York and follows a remote model with some travel. The company values diversity and inclusivity as part of its equal opportunity commitment. Applicants should have the background needed to operate confidently across clinical, product, and commercial conversations.
Who This Role Fits
This position is intended for someone with substantial consulting or strategy-and-operations experience who can thrive in a fast-moving healthcare technology environment and work closely with senior leadership.
