Job description

Role overview

This position is for a Chief of Staff supporting a healthcare technology business. The role can be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington DC, or New York, and is remote with some travel. It offers a strong culture, significant growth potential, and total compensation of up to 250k all-in plus equity.

The company is looking for someone who can keep the most important initiatives moving, help the CEO and leadership team stay prepared, and act as a trusted partner who gets results through influence, organization, and follow-through rather than formal authority.

What you will do

  • Support the CEO’s operating rhythm and ensure high-priority meetings are well prepared.
  • Get the CEO ready for key internal and external interactions, including board, company, customer, and partner meetings.
  • Own the preparation materials behind those meetings, such as pre-reads, agendas, decision documents, and synthesized insights.
  • Make sure the right issues are framed clearly and the necessary materials are ready in advance.
  • Lead important cross-functional programs from beginning to end, including integration work, product launches, and go-to-market execution.
  • Keep owners aligned to timelines through structured coordination, visibility, and accountability.
  • Track dependencies and raise risks early before they affect delivery milestones.
  • Drive major transformation efforts across the AI businesses, U.S. and India teams, and multiple functional groups.
  • Convert company OKRs into organized program plans with owners, milestones, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Maintain coordination across entities and geographies when priorities and stakeholders span multiple business units.
  • Act as the bridge between strategy and execution so leadership decisions are translated into delivered and measured outcomes.
  • Promote the use of AI tools and workflows across sales, marketing, finance, customer success, HR, and operations.
  • Identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual work, speed up decisions, and help small teams produce more.
  • Work with functional leaders to build AI into operating cadences, reporting, and daily workflows.
  • Turn complex or messy inputs into clear analysis, choices, and recommendations for the CEO and the firm.
  • Create supporting materials such as decks, memos, first-pass models, and trackers using AI as a productivity multiplier.
  • Bring structure and a clear point of view to open-ended business questions.
  • Serve as connective tissue across commercial, product, finance, and customer success teams.
  • Keep initiatives moving by building trust with leadership and senior managers and influencing through preparation and clarity.
  • Remove friction and close gaps between different functions.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings 5 to 8 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, strategy and operations, or business operations at a high-growth healthcare technology company. Experience in health technology or healthcare IT is important, either through direct work at a fast-growing health tech company or through deep consulting work with health tech clients.

You should have a strong background in managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders. The role also requires comfort working in ambiguous situations and the ability to structure delivery from scoping through execution.

Technical fluency matters as well. You should be comfortable with technology products, data, and AI concepts, and able to discuss product and engineering topics credibly.

The company is especially interested in someone who has already rebuilt their own workflow around AI tools and uses them to create the output of a small team across drafting, analysis, research, and program tracking.

This role calls for someone who can speak concretely about what they have automated or built, and who can work credibly across clinical, product, and commercial conversations.

Compensation and other details

Total compensation is stated as up to 250k all in plus equity.
