Role Overview

The Director of Commercial Operations will be a pivotal figure within the Commercial and Marketing division, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial and Brand Officer. This role entails steering strategic direction, alignment, prioritization, and planning for all marketing and customer experience (CX) initiatives. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders organization-wide to develop and implement cohesive plans that enhance customer experiences and drive efficiency, growth, innovation, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional strategic planning across Marketing, CX, and Product teams by setting goals, metrics, priorities, and determining optimal resource and technology investments.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and CX leaders to analyze patient funnel performance, diagnose issues, prioritize initiatives, maintain focus, and track outcomes.
  • Manage projects involving multidisciplinary teams to develop, execute, and evaluate marketing and CX initiatives.
  • Assist the Chief Commercial and Brand Officer in preparing strategic presentations and reports for the Executive Team and Board regarding marketing, product, and CX performance.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and independence while influencing strategies and executing leadership vision at the market level.
  • Support Strategy and Business Development teams by assessing potential investments from marketing, product, and CX perspectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory; an MBA is preferred.
  • 3-5 years in strategy or management consulting roles.
  • 5-10 years of experience in strategic planning intersecting product, customer experience, and technology, including substantial project management.
  • Minimum 5 years leading prominent, impactful cross-functional projects.
  • Intellectual curiosity, thoughtful listening, and inquisitiveness.
  • Strong critical thinking to generate diverse solutions for complex challenges.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills within a fast-changing environment.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills for leadership through influence and collaboration.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite at an advanced business level for modeling, memos, and executive presentations.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate analyses, opportunities, considerations, and recommendations effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual salary for this role ranges from $160,000 to $210,000, complemented by bonus opportunities. The package also includes comprehensive benefits such as paid time off, medical, dental, vision coverage, and participation in a 401(k) plan with company matching.
