Hospitable creates software that helps short-term rental businesses operate with minimal manual effort, backed by a polished product experience. It moves quickly, makes deliberate decisions, and values high-impact work. The role reports directly to the CEO.

The business is profitable, international, and structured across multiple entities. The CFO will provide senior financial leadership that helps direct capital toward the best opportunities, supports disciplined scaling, and strengthens long-term value for the company, its team, and its investors.

Core responsibilities

• Direct how capital is allocated and build the internal and external case for the investments that matter most.
• Equip leadership with clear financial insight so the company can invest confidently while keeping growth disciplined and profitable.
• Strengthen the long-term value of the company and the liquidity opportunities available to employees and investors.
• Serve as the primary financial representative to investors, partners, banks, and auditors.
• Design, hire, and lead a lean finance team that uses AI effectively across an international corporate structure.
• Set company-wide standards for how the finance function operates, partners with the business, and builds trust.

Requirements

• Strong daily overlap with both EMEA and US Eastern working hours is required because the company operates remotely across time zones.
• Proven experience leading finance in a business that has reached meaningful scale and created durable shareholder value.
• Hands-on background in international finance, including multi-entity and multi-currency operations.
• Solid understanding of cross-border tax and compliance matters, including US indirect tax.
• A recognized accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or an equivalent locally accredited CPA.
• Deep capability in FP&A and financial modelling.
• Confident, proactive communication style with strong ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving remote environment.
• Additional advantage: experience with SaaS-enabled marketplaces, including forecasting both transactional GBV and recurring revenue.
• Additional advantage: experience in travel, hospitality, or proptech.
• Additional advantage: experience building a finance function from a founder-led setup into an institutional-grade team.

• Hiring is possible internationally on a contractor basis, or as an employee if based in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Australia, with payroll taxes considered when setting gross compensation.
• Equity participation through the $HOST token in the form of RSUs, with a grant valued at US$436,800 vesting over four years, or about US$109,200 per year.
