About the Role

TAFE Queensland Gold Coast is inviting experienced industry professionals to deliver engaging and practical AutoCAD short courses. This casual position is primarily located at the Coomera Creative Campus, with a possibility of working at additional TAFE campuses. You'll be tasked with keeping course content current, leading non-accredited course delivery, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Confidently lead classroom teaching sessions throughout the course duration.
  • Deliver courses face-to-face on campus effectively.
  • Create and maintain learning materials and resources tailored for students.
  • Adapt instructional techniques and materials to satisfy diverse student learning requirements.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with students to foster their engagement.
  • Ensure students understand and practice accepted safety procedures within the learning environment.
  • Promote an ethical, safe, and zero-harm culture emphasizing health, safety, wellness, and sustainability.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency and practical experience with AutoCAD software.

Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • Completion of TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred.
