Role Overview

This temporary full-time leadership position, available until 11 December 2026 unless extended, focuses on enhancing student wellbeing, engagement, attendance, behaviour, and academic achievements through inclusive and evidence-based strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct strategic efforts to boost student success, attendance, engagement, and wellbeing, emphasizing equity and achievement for all learners.
• Utilize data to guide practice by tracking student outcomes, coordinating appropriate intervention methods, preparing necessary reports, and supporting decision-making grounded in evidence.
• Enhance staff capabilities by offering leadership, resources, and advice to school leaders and teachers to improve student results and attendance systems.
• Forge strong collaborations with students, families, community groups, tertiary institutions, businesses, and external agencies to promote student involvement, smooth transitions, and comprehensive wellbeing.
• Manage departmental operations effectively by overseeing resources, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and departmental policies, and fostering inclusive and socially equitable practices across the school.
