Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver for our Cambridge village to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide personal care and support, assisting residents with their daily activities to ensure comfort and wellbeing.

Key Duties

• Deliver meals and assist residents during mealtimes
• Support hygiene needs including help with showering
• Assist with individualized care plans, including encouraging exercises and walks
• Engage residents with activities like puzzles and table tennis to promote mental stimulation

Shift and Hours

This permanent, full-time position follows a roster of four days on and two days off. Shifts rotate among morning, afternoon, and night periods, with total hours between 60 and 80 per fortnight. Weekend work is included with additional penalty rates.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in aged care or a related field, with a dementia care qualification certificate
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to foster meaningful relationships
• Reliability in adhering to a rotational shift roster including mornings, afternoons, and nights
• Empathetic, patient, and dedicated to improving residents’ quality of life
