Role Overview

As a Caregiver at Kenepuru Village, you will play an essential role within our Memory Care Centre, providing compassionate and personalized support to residents living with dementia. Your work will focus on ensuring their safety and wellbeing, fostering a healthy, respectful lifestyle for each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain resident safety at all times
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene needs including showering and toileting
• Support residents according to their individualized care plans
• Document progress notes accurately and timely

Work Schedule

This position involves night shifts working a cycle of four consecutive days on followed by two days off.

Candidate Profile

We seek empathetic, patient, and kind caregivers who are passionate about making a positive impact on residents’ lives. Effective communication skills and the ability to nurture lasting relationships are essential.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in aged care or a related caregiving role
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts
• Commitment to the work pattern of four days on and two days off during night shifts
