Responsibilities

• Discover new use cases and market segments to innovate Lyft Business’s B2B transportation offerings, targeting sustained, long-term growth.
• Construct detailed business cases entailing market analysis, competitive landscape evaluation, financial projections, and risk examination.
• Track industry trends and competitors to keep Lyft Business at the market forefront.
• Lead partnership sourcing and development end-to-end, from opportunity evaluation to commercial modeling and cross-functional implementation, to unlock new growth avenues.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative business data to inform strategic choices effectively.
• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and analytics teams to ensure strategic alignment and transform strategies into measurable initiatives.
• Develop executive-level presentations and reports to update leadership throughout Lyft Inc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or similar roles with proven success in driving business expansion.
• Demonstrated capability in crafting and executing go-to-market plans for B2B products or services, especially in technology or transportation sectors.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving prowess with aptitude for translating data into actionable strategies.
• Strong project management skills with high attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Comfortable handling ambiguously defined problems, structuring approaches, and delivering clear recommendations.
• Proven ability to spearhead cross-functional projects and influence senior leaders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex information to diverse audiences.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating ownership and accountability.
• Prior experience in partnerships or business development is advantageous.
• Familiarity with operations in fast-growing tech companies is a plus.

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position in New York City is $118,000 to $147,500 annually, exclusive of equity, bonuses, and benefits; actual pay depends on qualifications and location.
