Role Summary

This position is for a Business Development Representative supporting the South African market from Salesforce’s Dublin hub. The role centers on driving new business and supporting expansion opportunities by promoting the Salesforce Customer 360 platform and Agentforce. You will collaborate with sales teams to build pipeline and help businesses modernize with AI, data, and CRM solutions.

Relocation and Location Support

The role is based in Dublin, Ireland in a hybrid working arrangement. Relocation assistance is provided, including support starting from offer acceptance through arrival and onboarding. Assistance may include visa and relocation guidance, help with PPS applications, housing searches, and settling-in support.

How the Relocation Support Works

  • Once you accept the offer, visa and relocation support begins right away.
  • You will be connected with relocation specialists to plan the move.
  • Support is available for PPS applications, housing searches, and relocation benefits while settling in.
  • On your first day, you will attend orientation at the Dublin campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting.
  • Reach out to decision-makers using cold calls, email campaigns, and social selling methods.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to shape territory plans and sales strategy.
  • Research target accounts in depth to identify business challenges Salesforce can address.
  • Support pipeline creation for new business and growth within existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in both Afrikaans and English is essential.
  • Proven experience in direct sales where quotas were part of the role.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to simplify complex value propositions.
  • Background in business development, sales, or a client-facing position; internships and leadership experience are also considered.
  • Visa support is available for candidates who do not already have the right to work in Ireland.

Preferred Background

  • Exposure to sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or Value Selling.
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a high-energy environment.
